The workshop in Broadcast Journalism is designed for the working and budding journalist as well as fresh graduates.

This workshop encompasses the foundation of electronic news gathering, the fundamental principles, techniques and craft of contemporary journalism.

Each student will get chance to do news anchoring in Chroma studio with the help of Tele-prompter. Come join for this workshop and experience the exciting world of Television Journalism.

About Dr. Keshav Sathaye

He is a media practitioner & educator and working in the field for more than 3 decades.  He started his career with Doordarshan, Mumbai and subsequently moved to educational TV industry. He had covered many national and international events for Doordarshan. He is a trained media person and had his training from Asian Institute of Broadcasting Development, Kualalumpur [Malaysia]  He is a recipient of Sudha Atre award for securing highest marks in the subject advertising in his master’s programme of communication & Journalism. He is also a recipient of national award for educational TV programme.

He is a PH. D. rank holder from University of Pune in communication science faculty. 

He had produced and directed over 500 Educational TV programmes for children and teachers. He had been associated with All India Radio as a news reader and commentator. He had been closely connected with Edusat project of Ministry of HRD and conducted many distance education programmes.

He is regularly contributing to newspapers periodicals and magazines on media related subjects. His series of 11 articles on broadcast journalism in The Times of India was well appreciated by student community and teachers. He is a visiting faculty in communication media and teaches at various universities, film schools and media institutes.

His articles on educational TV in India and Advertising in India were published in commonwealth broadcaster [magazine published from UK.] His interviews on media education were aired by ZEE 24 Tass,IBN Lokmat and Doordarshan.

His recent book titled- Broadcast Journalism and Digital media is a unique contribution in media education as it has been enriched with his long standing experience in media production, education and research.
